Back in January, someone on the Quilt Art list proposed a fabric post card challenge to celebrate  the 200th birthday of Edgar Alen Poe. The only requirement was that a rave be featured in some way. I showed my postcards a while back but here is a link to the site where all the cards are shown:

I joined the postcard challenge to celebrate the 200th Birthday of Edgar Allen Poe. Here are my two entries:

I used silver leaf paint on the edges of the first one and gold on the second. The second is done with Shiva paint sticks. They are okay, not  earth shattering by any stretch but at least I can say I got them done before the deadline.

I am still working at cleaning out and simplifying my life. As such I spent some time putting more stuf up on E-Bay. They have gotten expensive but it is still a good way to find good homes for my sewing colectables. There is a link at the side of this page if you are interested.
